Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in managing a network infrastructure deployment team.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with network design, installation, and maintenance for service providers or large enterprise networks.
Experience with field-based work in POPs, carrier hotels, data centers, and central office environments.
Experience creating rack elevations and other planned/install/as-built documentation.
Understanding of network theory, technologies, and the operation of optical transport and IP network systems.
Understanding of network design, equipment, and infrastructure.
Ability to manage people, and to drive execution while furthering the personal needs and aspirations of your teams members.

As a Network Implementation Manager, you will manage the build-to plans to meet the demands of internal customers and Google Internet users. In this role, you will coordinate the efforts of cross-functional teams and other specialists, drive execution on a large portfolio of projects, and plan requirements through the entire project life cycle.
The Network Deployment team plans, designs, and builds the network.

Additional Information
(Colorado only*) Minimum Salary of $132,000 - $142,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Responsibilities
Guide the detailing of high-level designs into deployable schedules and build packages.
Generate implementation plans and field team schedules and provide technical leadership and guidance during deployment activities.
Oversee engineers who install, commission, test, and accept new deployment activities on global projects. Guide career development for all team members.
Oversee network documentation, ensure proper updating/maintenance of network drawings/plans, and generate bills of materials to manage appropriate equipment procurement.
Work with Network Capacity Management to assess risks and potentials in alignment with forecasts and high-level build-to plans.
