Job Description

What will you be doing? 


•    Produce planning documents and inventory system modelling to deploy new Mobile connectivity across multiple workstreams. Enabling multiple services to be delivered including but not limited to 2G/3G/4G/5G, NBIOT.
•    Produce planning documentation and circuit orders to migrate mobile, customer and network bandwidth in support of network optimization/rationalization and transformation requirements (such as Janus/BBNS).
•    Detailed analysis of equipment, platforms and Other Licensed Operators capacity at sites to enable us to scope the volume of traffic that needs to be migrated and identify the circuits that are no longer required and can be ceased. Plan the most cost-effective solution to deliver these migrations and be involved in the delivery thus ensuring minimal impact to customer service.
•    Drive technical expertise with others within the team and support our offshore operation in delivery of projects. Assist with the training of both the on and offshore teams as required. Continual improvement.
•    Maintaining a high level of data integrity within the Network Inventory Systems Cramer & MORI. Including VECTOR Data Integrity Management.
 

 

Who are we looking for?  
•    Previous experience within Network Design and Planning environment within the Telecoms industry.
•    Effective communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences.  
•    Good knowledge MS office including Excel 
•     Understanding of SCADA/DCN and Synchronisation would be beneficial.
