We are now looking to hire a passionate, dynamic, analytical, innovative, hands-on and customer-obsessed candidate to support network growth. The Network Control Manager act as the lead on driving network performance (quality, speed and cost) through projects and network initiatives, and will form a business partnership with first and middle mile stakeholders and operational AMZL Teams.

You will play a key role in developing and deploying network speed initiatives, delivering our vision to improve customer order cut-offs and driving great customer experience. A significant proportion of the role will be identifying and implementing design and process solutions that increase the reliability and consistent delivery of end-to-end performance, removing defects from the pipeline and delivering a corresponding improvement. In addition, it will include designing and implementing measurement mechanisms to deep dive systemic issues that prevent shipments from reaching stations and our end customers to plan.

The role will work to facilitate approval from senior functional leaders to enable strategies to improve performance and schedule cross-functional resource allocation efficiently and effectively. You will be a natural self-starter who is comfortable supporting complex cross-functional projects and action plans. You will have a true hands-on approach, the ability to generate solutions, strong process management skills, and be an effective communicator. This position involves regular communication with senior management on network performance, risks and time critical mitigation activities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Recent graduate from a Bachelor’s degree
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. macros, pivots, lookups, VBA)
· Advanced proficiency in SQL/ETL
· Fluent in English, with strong written and oral communication skills
· Experience in deep diving operational metrics and problem solving
· Able to evaluate priorities appropriately, resolve conflict deliver within time constraints

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Master’s degree preferred
· Knowledge of project management, handling multiple priorities, and working with varied stakeholders
· Work experience within a network planning or logistics/operations management role
· Exceptional organization skills and ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
· Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills
· Experience leading and interacting with cross-functional teams
· Strong executive presentation skills
