Capita Technology and Software Solutions (TSS) are looking for a Network Architect. The role is Home-Based within the UK. Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager within the Customer Design & Deployment Team, the Network Architect will be responsible for designing fit for purpose Network Solutions to support the business objectives of TSS and its extensive customer base. The Network Architect will collaborate with business stakeholders and customer representatives to understand and translate business requirements, into appropriate technical solutions to meet both business and commercial needs.

What you’ll be doing:
translating customer business and technology requirements that can vary in detail, and producing high quality network solutions, at both high and low levels of detail
delivering designs to defined standards, often against challenging timescales
providing input to technical designs provided by other technology groups using cross functional technical knowledge
providing direct, credible, and authoritative interaction with colleagues and customers alike
contributing actively to continual service delivery improvement
acting as a SME and mentor to more junior Network Engineering staff
What we’re looking for:
Experience with Routing & Switching (Cisco or Juniper)
Experience with Firewall Solutions (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, or Juniper)
Experience with Load Balancing (F5)
Working towards Cisco CCIE or JNCIP/JNCIE Qualification
Cisco CCNA/CCDA/CCNP/CCDP or Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE Qualification
Current SC Clearance or Eligibility to gain SC Clearance
Ideally, experience with SD-WAN and SD-Access
