Responsible to set and influence the strategic direction of the engineering work. Works on existing and emerging technologies. Delivers automation solutions to the business to solve specific problems Technology Leaders deliver visible business benefits through engineering solutions, at project level within a category or BU. Leveraging new advanced controls, robotics, information systems and Cyber Security technologies.

The Breakthrough Automation Technology Leader will provide critical leadership for end-to-end Automation including:

• Regional ownership of Baby Care Automation Masterplan - Partnership with Global Team
• Leadership of Auto Roll Loading leadline in North America
• Leading the implementation of Raw Material AGV delivery from Supermarket to Production line
• Identification and implementation of Cobot applications
• Technical master to help steer the Global Team and support/solve the difficult problems that need focused attention.

Important Responsibilities: Identify and lead automation projects from feasibility to proof of concept to regional rollout. Represent North America Baby Care and partner with the Global Baby Care Supply Chain innovation team to accelerate adoption and reapplication of supply chain innovation and productivity projects.

Qualifications

• Technical Mastery: Candidate should have demonstrated advanced Robotic and Material Handling skills. Applicable experience in packing systems, logistics, Autonomous Vehicles, RTCIS, and cost savings.
• Leadership: Candidate will need to lead the NA Automation effort through all phases and startups. They will need to address capability needs and motivate individuals to succeed. They will need to set priorities and direct the right resources to the work to succeed with multiple projects at one time.
• Grows Capability: An enthusiasm for coaching and teaching others. Candidate must be able to transfer technical expertise and knowledge to manufacturing resources.

• Some travel will be required to learn new technologies and/or to provide startup support for other sites (10 - 20%).
