Job Description:

Driving success at Capita Education as a Casual Music Tutor (East Midlands Shared Service)

Here at Capita Education, we have a number of openings for Casual Music Tutors to join our hardworking and creative team. Covering regular music lessons across the Staffordshire area there are a variety of roles available spanning different specialisms, key stages and group sizes ranging from individuals to full classes.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working within schools across the Staffordshire area to varying class sizes throughout each key stage

• Engaging with student and teachers alike you will develop a close network allowing you to support the students progress in the best way possible

• Working with the scheduling team here to book in lessons convenient to you and suited to your experience level and teaching style

What we’re looking for:

• Employees are expected to be Inclusive, Musical, Professional, Proactive and Reflective.  

• All teachers enable the widest access to music-making for young people.

• A commitment to learning and development is essential

• A teaching qualification is desirable and is essential for school curriculum work.

• Some evening and weekend work may be required and the ability to travel between schools and other venues is essential.
