The Opportunity

In our efforts to be the industry leader in eliminating systemic inequalities in the media supply chain to positively impact the people we serve, their communities, the industry, and Procter & Gamble, we are looking to hire a Senior Brand Manager for Multicultural Media.  Reporting to the Senior Director for Multicultural Media, the person will be responsible for creating strategies to deliver:

  • Superior, integrated media strategies and plans that leverage multicultural owned media suppliers and drive sales amongst multicultural consumers
  • Incremental reach and improved relevance, and resonance for P&G brands  
  • Strategic partnerships with multicultural owned media vendors
  • Increased capability and media expertise of the organization in using multicultural owned media partners to build the business
  • Qualified practices that bring equality in the media industry

As the Senior Brand Manager for Multicultural Media:

  • You will act as an active and influential internal Multicultural media expert by providing strategic and tactical media planning consultation to brand teams; educating categories on how to use diverse owned media to drive media KPIs, sales, and payout; and assessing diverse owned supplier capability to develop actions plans for qualifying new inventory increasing the amount of qualified, diverse owned inventory.
  • You are part of a multi-functional business team, working closely with Purchasing, Analytics & Insights, Brand Management, Communications, and others, constantly exploring new opportunities for business growth with Multicultural consumers and diverse owned businesses.
  • Your key to success will be your ability to influence others (brand teams & external partners) grounded in developing strong recommendations using your Multicultural media expertise; to bring new insights into P&G reapplying proven ideas and generating new solutions; and to collaborate with your key business partners.   
  • You will be growing your skills day-in, day-out, by connecting with internal & external experts to explore new ways to constructively disrupt current approaches to growing P&G’s business with Multicultural consumers.

We are looking for passionate and driven individuals who are:

  • Excited to lead change and drive constructive disruption in the media space
  • Leaders with influencing skills to deliver strong media thinking for internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborators internally and externally, logical, meticulous & have high attention to detail
  • Energized to develop data driven media strategies to drive consumer grow

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Understanding of the U.S. multicultural media landscape
  • Understanding of programmatic media
  • Have worked in media, agency or client side
  • We are open to one of the following scenarios in terms of location- Someone who is based in Cincinnati and can travel approximately 2x a month OR someone based in the U.S that can travel to Cincinnati 2x a month and additionally 2x a month domestically to other cities.

Preferred:

  • Experience buying media in a programmatic DSP
