Job Description
The Multicultural Engagement Activation & Partnerships Intern will report to the Multicultural Engagement Activation & Partnerships Director and provide world class support to the team.
A Day in the Life…
- Various administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, assisting with expense management, travel arrangements, and VIP park ticket allocation for our Black and Hispanic internal and external influencers and partners
- Involved in organizing Black and Hispanic activations and maintaining celebrity and influencer filing
- Collaborate, partner and provide input around various Black/Hispanic consumer activations with key departments throughout Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products
What you bring to the role…
- Recent graduate majoring in communications, business, marketing, public relations or related field
- Strong administrative background and a strong ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Foundational knowledge of pop culture trends, especially among Black, Hispanic and other dimensions of diversity and cultures
- Ability to multi-task and meet quick deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build positive professional relationships and protect confidentiality
- Detail-oriented; process oriented
- Ability to exercise flexibility, initiative, good judgment, and discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excels in presentation development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Disney Parks & Resorts preferred, but not a deal breaker
Additional Information:
- At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship ​
- Must be at least 18 years of age​
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program. ​
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization​
- Must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session​
- This internship is a hybrid position -- Must be able to provide reliable transportation for work in the Orlando, FL area. Also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace.​
- Program length -- The approximate dates of this internship are January 2023 through June 2023​
