In our online multichannel department in the UK alone, we've scaled up our headcount in the past year by 170 people and we are now looking to increase this by a further 120+ over the next 12 months to accommodate our growth. Outside of the UK, we’ve also been accelerating our growth throughout Europe from our local offices in Amsterdam and Alicante.

 

As a leading retailer, we are preferred partners with the likes of Google, Facebook and TikTok due to our extensive presence within the market. As such, they provide us with leading industry insights and training, and we are often chosen as the beta trialists for new cutting-edge features that they are planning to roll out. In our Multichannel department we cover everything in the online and digital space and run everything internally through our world-class inhouse functions spread across: Digital Marketing (Paid Media, SEO, CRM, Affiliates, Influencers, Social, Content), Ecommerce (Online Trading, Online Visual Merchandising), Tech (Software Development FE/BE Stacks, App Development, Data, Security, UI/UX), and Studios (Design, Artwork, Retouch, Photography, Videography, Styling).

 

ROLE OVERVIEW

To manage and improve the creative content across the Giulio Multi-channel estate. Co-ordinating both internal and third party creative resource, project management and delivery, plus ensuring creative consistency and best-in-class creative is executed across the board.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working closely with the Cambridge team, maintaining and implementing the digital marketing calendar to ensure campaigns are executed seamlessly across the website, email, social media and digital marketing channels. Travel will be required to Cambridge approximately once per month.  

  • Working with the wider team to maintain and develop site improvements to drive innovation for Giulio in such a way that increases visitor numbers, product views and onsite conversion 

  • Ensure brand guidelines and creative consistency is executed across the full estate including desktop, mobile, app, kiosk, iPad and any additional digital builds. Making sure all of these channels are fully up to date with the latest campaign and marketing imagery. 

  • Ensure that the customer journey is smooth and effective from all marketing touch points through to purchase, liaising with UX and Merchandising teams. 

  • Responsible for briefing the studio of digital marketing requirements for Giulio across all channels including desktop, mobile, apps, social media & email 

  • Continually monitor competitor sites and share interesting findings and any suggestions to the wider team on things that could improve the overall site performance and competitiveness 

  • Complete daily site checks of key devices through testing and review of customer interactions working alongside the CS team to improve customer journey ensuring relevant landing / brand pages are up to date 

  • Ensuring relevant updates to landing pages/brand pages as well as checking/updating links 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE NEEDED:

  • Knowledge and Experience of commercial online marketing within eCommerce retailling is esstential (ideally within the fashion industry) 

  • Experience of developing and executing marketing strategies 

  • Experience of planning online content  

  • Experience of using eCommerce applications such as Mesh, IBM Websphere Commerce, Fred Hopper, Coremetrics and Exact Target would be advantageous 

  • A degree in marketing/online marketing would also be desirable
