Primary Function

The Electrical Bias Multi Skilled Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of all Production and Process machinery at our Goole Manufacturing site. The successful candidate will be expected to provide timely and hands on assistance in electrical maintenance tasks, ensuring safety and work standards are consistently met, enabling the site to reach its full potential.  This role is available Mon-Friday 8.30-5pm

Key Deliverables

Provide electrical/electronic and mechanical support for the site

Identify and execute maintenance improvement initiatives to reduce cost and increase efficiency.

Strive towards a world-class maintenance organisation at the Goole site by continually improving OEE of all production lines, addressing quality issues through technical solutions and improving the standards of maintenance workmanship.

The compliance with company EHSQ policies, procedures and applicable legal requirements.

The supervision and direction of apprentices as required to allocated tasks in a structured manner to ensure that work is carried out safely and effectively.

Pursue and demand high levels of workmanship and a zero defect performance level as the only acceptable standard in all areas.

Maintenance, calibration, repair, set-up and continual development of all machinery, equipment and plant services within the mechanical and electrical scope of the Maintenance Department with due regard to all relevant guidelines and practices.

Skill

Requirements

Completed a full engineering indentured apprenticeship

Minimum of 4 years post apprenticeship experience

Multi-skilled in both Electrical and Mechanical disciplines

Must be able to comply and recognise all safety aspects of site.

Ability to read and interpret, design, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical drawings.

Able to work with teams at various levels throughout the business.

Have a willingness to be pro-active with a good work ethic.
