The Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) is a state-of-the-art facility with a vision to empower digital transformation and business outcomes for strategic customers through immersive experiences and deep technical cross solution engagements​. At MTC in Bengaluru, we are looking for an individual who brings in deep technical expertise in the area of Ã¢â‚¬ËœCloud Infrastructure, Apps & Digital Innovation', who can help customers move to agile, cloud-based solutions (powered by Azure).

Responsibilities

As an MTC Technical Architect, you will:

Inspire CxOs and Technical and Business Decision Makers on what they could achieve by using the right set of innovative technology

• You will lead technical briefings, workshops, architecture design sessions, proofs, and pilots to explain, demonstrate, and prove to our largest customers the capabilities of Microsoft's products and services, and how we can make their businesses more successful.
• You will lead to clear technical, competitive and security blockers to accelerate Azure Infrastructure sales and customer usage.
• You will help win over the technical decision at customers for sales opportunities and usage scenarios, through tailoring your message, bringing ideas to customers, engaging with them to show our technology differentiation, and guiding them in decision making.
• You will work with partners and others at Microsoft, as well as use our core tools, social connection tools, and AI driven data to extend your reach and the reach of your team, focusing on satisfying important customer needs

Influence strategic deals through the delivery of high-impact MTC experiences

• Explain, demonstrate, and prove in-depth what Microsoft’s products and services can do and how to enable and manage them for our strategic and enterprise customers.
• Help address outstanding technical issues and to drive the customer’s solution and the sales opportunity toward a successful conclusion.
• Influence technical decision within opportunities to accelerate the win of complex solutions on our Platform integrated in the environment of the customer

Qualifications

 Consummate Professional

• Experience. 15+ years of related experience in Solution Architecture, technical pre-sales and/or technical consulting roles preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Certification in two or more of the following technologies preferred: Azure and/or AWS, Linux, Kubernetes

This position requires deep technical expertise, particularly as a hands-on-architect, as well as possess breadth of experience in the following areas:

• Cloud technologies (with a focus on PaaS), leveraging the Microsoft Cloud Platform (Azure) or experience with Amazon Web Services
• Ability to construct a narrative, demonstrate and prove scalable cloud native, serverless and microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of Amazon and Google cloud technologies, third party solutions running on Azure, and the ability to create hybrid and migration scenarios for customers with the Microsoft Azure platform
• Designing, architecting, developing and proving cloud-based solutions with sustained availability, smart scale, and enterprise grade security
• Hands-on architecture and development experience with Microsoft .NET platform, Cloud and Mobile technologies, including Open Source software as well as languages (e.g., .Net, Node.js, Python, Java, Objective C/Swift, etc.); Microsoft and Open Source integration technologies and ESB/SOA architectures.
• Broad awareness in data domain including Microsoft and Open Source (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Document DB) to create large, scalable applications.
• Fluent in software development methodologies spanning the application lifecycle (SDLC) from Agile to cloud based approaches such as continuous integration, containers, etc. DevOps experience across Microsoft and Open Source platforms; One or more architecture/application design patters such as Actor, Composite, Anti-Pattern, etc.
• Experience Implementing identity management and security frameworks (application & infrastructure) for cloud and hybrid solutions
• Ability to grasp strategic customer/partner business objective quickly and to articulate solution vision that addresses these objectives.
