What We Want

 Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or related field

 10 years of hands-on experience in application development, that experience must include at a minimum the following:

o 5 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamic Finance & Operations and any combination of:

 developing custom applications

 superior technical proficiency with SQL

 proven expertise customizing Microsoft Dynamics

 creating and maintaining various application integration framework services for Microsoft Dynamics Integration

 proven experience creating and modifying forms with SSRS

 creating and updating custom reports, and

 technical experience with OOP programming language.

 Experience in reviewing architectural structures, identification of architectural issues and demonstrated ability to perform analysis and recommend improving application development design and architecture;

What You’ll Do At LIPA

The Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) Application Developer will perform application development and support functions in the development, implementation, modification and support of Human Resources, Finance and Procurement (HRFMS) applications, reports, forms, and interfaces. The ERP Application Developer will use Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to provide an integrated information system solution to meet the business needs of the Authority.

This position will design, develop, and deploy Microsoft Dynamics 365 including entities, financials, operations, forms, workflows, reports and dashboards. The ERP Application Developer will also be responsible for providing technical expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning, Time and Attendance Systems and critical production support issue resolution.

The ERP Application Developer serves as the primary point of contact with the Finance, Human Resources and Procurement departments and must be able to work with functional and technical staff to understand their business functions as they relate to areas such as accounting, revenue, budget, disbursement, Procurement and HR Management, and also produce the requested documentation and provide project support, as needed.
