This role is primarily Home -Based Remote with flexibility to travel to Capita Office as and when required.

As MS Dynamics 365 Consultant you will provide subject matter expertise and experience in solution development and functional analysis into large scale enterprise Dynamics 365 architectures and projects.

Working alongside a global team of CRM Consultants, Architects and Developers in Capita’s major markets and sectors, to build innovative sales, marketing, and analytics tools to increase user adoption and satisfaction in all our clients.

As the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Consultants, you will consult on design, configure, customise, develop and implement solutions on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Platforms to agreed timescales and budget.

Working with a hands on approach and in conjunction with the Lead Solution Architect, to design  and implement Dynamics 365 products, the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Consultants will be supporting a variety of clients with their strategy, technical design, user experience, software development and delivery into live service as part of either bespoke deliveries or large transformation projects.

The consultant will support and mentor junior consultants on Dynamics CRM environments to assist in the delivery of more complex projects.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide input and advice regarding Microsoft Dynamics 365/CRM 2015/2016 capabilities, functions and features to clients and prospects.
  • Conduct hands-on implementation, configuration, and development of the various components of Microsoft Dynamics 365/CRM 2015/2016.
  • Facilitate workshops to develop business requirements; create demonstrations to provide proof of concept; plan and assist the team in drafting statements of work to include estimation of effort/cost.
  • Build positive client relationships by developing an understanding of the client’s business processes.
  • Develop analytical and insightful recommendations to meet deliverable targets, and complete project tasks within budget and to customer satisfaction.
  • Perform requirements gathering, Business Process Analysis.
  • Deliver presentations to all levels of management.
  • Create documentation for clients, including PowerPoint presentations and Visio workflows regarding functional and technical requirements, design, training, process engineering, etc.
  • Ad-hoc consultancy and troubleshooting will also be required to support the Live Service Team on Change Request evaluation, analysis, and implementation.

What we’re looking for:

  • Extensive experience as CRM consultant.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of all CRM functional areas including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and broad understanding of Dynamics 365 out-of-the-box functionality and limits.
  • Will have familiarity in two or more of the following development areas: .NET Frameworks, C#, ASP.NET, SQL, XML Technologies and Web Services. 
  • Good understanding of Dynamics 365 Common Data Model and Common Data Model including the customisations and development of Business Data Models for different solutions.
  • Experience working with PowerApps, Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps in direct relation to the Dynamics platform and customisation.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of employees including C-level.
  • Experience creating strong business cases supported by compelling value propositions.
  • Experience assisting with definition and functional design of conversions and interfaces, and functional experience in leading technical team through Microsoft CRM API usage; integration development.
  • Good working knowledge of version control methods and software such as Team Foundation Server or Visual Studio Team Services, Azure DevOps.

Desirable :

  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM Certifications (2016, D365) are desirable.
  • 1+ year consistent use of Scribe Insight and supporting adapters is preferred.
  • Knowledge of personally using Connector for Microsoft Dynamics to Integrate Microsoft Dynamics CRM with Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred.
  • Knowledge of personally using Connector for Microsoft Dynamics to Integrate Microsoft Dynamics CRM with “Microsoft Dynamics NAV” preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Experience of working with in-house development teams or offshore developers.
  • Attitudes and behaviours consistent with Capita’s espoused values.
  • Knowledge and exposure of other Market Leading CRM solutions.
  • Currently SC Cleared.
