Help us strengthen our Service Platform Operations team as Platform Support Analyst (Microsoft Azure)

This position is home based remote .

You will have strong knowledge of different cloud technologies, platform, governance, and frameworks.

You will be monitoring and maintenance of Azure solutions. you will have knowledge of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS services.

You will provide 2nd Line and 3rd Line support in relation to IT issues, incidents, and service requests predominantly around our core platforms and integrated third party services with strong analytical and technical background with good problem-solving skills.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Log, analyse, triage, and prioritise all IT Incidents, Problems and Changes received via all communication channels.
  • Ensure systems, applications and services run and meet business SLA targets.
  • Work closely with internal and external development teams on changes to existing systems, ensuring they are implemented efficiently and on-schedule.
  • Provide extended support during delivery of Change, identifying any potential impact on infrastructure, the core platform; Focus or within any 3rd party services used across the platform.
  • Troubleshoot and manage the configuration of the existing technical capabilities to ensure that business requirements are met.
  • Manage, support, and coordinate post-release critical issues through to successful resolution, communicating and working with key stakeholders.
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to liaise with both Business, Team members and IT users in a clear manner and must have strong communication and problem ownership skills.
  • You will have the temperament to work under pressure in a fast-moving production environment and will be confident in dealing with senior members of front office, other business functions and management.
  • You will have worked with all facets of Infrastructure, Vendor, Development and External teams on issues requiring deeper investigation, coordinating resolution and provide feedback.

What we’re looking for:

  • Similar experience of Microsoft Azure Platform Support Analyst role
  • Experience of investigating application-related systems, user requests, resolving issues and coordinating for resolution of issues.
  • Hold certification in ITIL Foundation V3
  • Azure Infrastructure provisioning, management, and networking.
  • Experience of supporting applications hosted on Windows Servers.
  • Experience of supporting applications hosted on Linux Servers.
  • Strong Linux skills including scripting and server management.
  • Strong database skills with a good understanding of SQL and stored procedures and make changes whenever required. ( SQL server provisioning and management , TSQL , PSQL)
  • Bash scripting and Perl programming
  • Virtual machine management with Vmware ESXi
  • WebLogic Application Server management
  • Team Foundation Server
  • Windows Server provisioning and management
  • Apache Server provisioning and management
  • Linux based / Cisco Load Balancers
  • Lansweeper
  • DELL SAN management
  • On Premises Microsoft DevOps
  • Microsoft System Centre
  • Rational Team Concert Builds/Deployments.
  • Managing, deploying, and supporting releases
