The Role 
  

• Support the definition and evolution of the Mobile Private Network architecture blueprint, including evolution to 5G SA. 
• Responsible for the access design of the Mobile Private Network (MPN) architecture, and the relevant interaction with the public mobile networks
• Verification the MPN access design, including the definition and verification of the mobile strategy
• Management of technical acceptance of the MPN radio HW and SW, including the support for the verification of devices performance. 
• Definition of the RAN KPIs and of the related performance targets
• Analysis and troubleshooting of the Mobile Private Network performance issues and design of the related improvement guidelines
• Support definition of customer specific MPN solutions

• Provide high level design of the Access Network for MPN
• Define the reference RAN configurations for MPN products, including MPN specific SW functionalities.
• Support process definition for the delivery of customised solution in collaboration with VBPS and ND
• Define MPN specific Radio configurations for the Vodafone RAN suppliers
• Define the optimal parameterisation to maximise network performance, in collaboration with the RAN optimisation teams in Mobile Access and ND
• Manage technical acceptance and life cycle of the RAN configuration and related SW functionalities, including the correct interworking with MPN/market specific core/TX design

• Good awareness of wider technology aspects in telecommunications and ICT
• IP networking expert
• Very good knowledge of 3GPP Radio Protocols and mobility procedure
