Customer Service Advisor - Motor Claims – salary from £20,000 up to £23,500 Norwich location

Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? And do you have an empathetic customer service style, providing brilliant service to every customer you speak to? If so, we’d love you to apply for one of our exciting Customer Service Advisor opportunities in our Motor Claims team. These are permanent roles and will involve shift patterns covering the hours of 8.00am to 6.15pm (Monday – Friday), with a set start date of 11th July

A bit about the job:

In this role you will need to take the time to understand the needs of our customers by answering a high volume of calls and then building up rapport (i.e. asking the right questions / gathering the right info), to ensure that we get our customers back on the road as soon as possible and minimise the inconvenience to their daily lives. You will also need to juggle multiple tasks at pace, utilising a range of systems and working in a dynamic, agile team. Please click on the video link for an insight on how we help our customers at their times of need:

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking, and prioritising responsibilities

  • Team player mentality, with a willingness to learn and help others out

  • Passionate about delivering brilliant customer service i.e., someone who takes pride in producing a high standard of work and putting the customer first

  • Embrace and supports change, matched with the ability to share ideas and suggestions to improve our customers’ journey

  • Thrives undertaking digital & online tasks, and can demonstrate strong I.T skills, with prior experience of using software like Microsoft Outlook and Word.

What you’ll get for this role:

  • Annual salary of £20,000 up to £23,500 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications).

  • Generous pension (starting level Aviva contributes 8%, when you contribute 2%).

  • Eligibility for annual performance bonus.

  • Family friendly parental and carer’s leave.

  • 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and the option to buy/sell up to 5 additional days.

Aviva is for everyone:

We are inclusive – we want applications from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Excited but not sure you tick every box? Research tells us that women, particularly, feel this way.  So, regardless of gender, why not apply. And if you’re in a job share just apply as a pair.

We flex locations, hours and working patterns to suit our customers, business, and you.

Most of our people are smart working – spending around 60% of their time in our offices and 40% at home.
