What will you be doing?
Conceiving and creating eye-catching, engaging, informative graphics and animations in a fast-paced news environment.
Close co-operation with Corporate Social Media Manager and Videographer in the production of engaging social content.
Ability to see creative projects through from conception to completion, from scripting/ storyboarding to post-production.
Ability to guide colleagues in more effective, visual-first storytelling.
Who are we looking for?
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software (e.g. Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent.
Skilled in conceiving and creating infographics, graphics and animations at speed.
Experience working in a busy news, publishing, corporate or agency environment producing high-quality content to tight deadlines.
BA degree or equivalent qualification in graphic design, animation, art, videography or similar.
Experience of fast-paced creative environments e.g. newspaper/broadcaster, publishing, creative agency.
Experience of Microsoft suite of software e.g. Teams, Powerpoint, Excel.
Basic video editing skills a plus (desirable)
Video production experience (desirable)
Proficiency in creating visually appealing Powerpoint decks
