Position Summary

The candidate will work with a group of innovative scientists to support the generation of protein reagents & therapeutic candidates of biologics programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver large scale plasmid preparations to support transient transfection for protein expression.

• Carry out small scale mammalian transient expression and analysis to optimize expression conditions.

• Express proteins and drug candidates through transient transfection to support lead identification.

• Closely collaborate with scientists within own department and with external customers.

Qualifications & Experience

• Knowledge and/or experience with standard molecular biology techniques for the creation of expression vectors and preparation of expression plasmids.

• Experience with cell culture techniques and transfection of mammalian cells for protein expression.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Customer-oriented attitude toward scientific colleagues.
