Sales Leadership
The Modern Work solution area is the largest within the enterprise segment. With the continued platform innovation and customer demand for digital transformation, the modern work solution sales leader role plays a critical part in the continued revenue growth of Microsoft UK. Accountable for delivering the UK Subsidiary revenue across our enterprise customers through our modern work SaaS solutions including E5, Viva, Teams, and Microsoft’s Surface portfolio. The modern work sales leader will lead a best-in-class sales team of 7 managers/directors and 60+ sales & technical sales specialists. The modern work sales leader will be a role model for customer and partner engagement with an expectation of 60% of their time spend externally focussed.
The modern work solution sales leader will also:
- Deliver critical insight into future growth opportunities, being a though leader with digital transformation across the Microsoft solution areas. Leads their team to explore business and emerging opportunities to optimize the portfolio and facilitate customer innovation to drive growth by leveraging technology, industry, and partner expertise. Builds new market by leveraging deep technology expertise and resources.
- Advise subsidiary and corporate leadership on opportunities and blockers to growth, collaborating with key stakeholders to drive continued transformation and change
- Be a key figure with customers and partners on the critical transformational deals, leveraging social platforms to amplify platform innovation and customer transformation stories
- Strong collaborator across the Enterprise Operating Unit, partnering with Customer Success, Business Group and Account Team Leaders, active participant in the worldwide modern work solutions leader community

Sales Excellence
- Drives and oversees integrated strategic planning to exceed cloud growth, drive consumption, and support revenue and gain market share. Drives the integration of all resources.
- Represent the UK subsidiary in rhythm of business aligning the plans of their team across departments.
- Guides their team regarding client performance, in whitespace analysis, and identifying potential new business in their assigned territories.
- Develops and aligns the analysis approach across the organization.
- Mentors/coaches the team on growing knowledge on sales or products and ensures the team complete training and obtain certifications as required. Seek additional learning opportunities and prioritize to enhance effectiveness.

Required Qualifications
- Experienced collaborator across organisations, ability to build strong relationships and partnerships with peers and senior stakeholders
- Strong experience of leading complex sales scenarios, with sponsorship at CxO level of Global 500 companies
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to demonstrate impact across a global organisation
- Demonstrable passion for people management and coaching
- Demonstrate a successful sales track record with hyper-scale growth SaaS solutions
- Willingness to continually learn
