Job Description

ENGIE are looking for an experienced Mobile Fabric Engineer to join our team in Crewe, however the position will be mobile, on a full time permanent basis. 

The primary purpose of the role is to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of Fabric and limited Engineering Assets, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the contracted output specifications and ENGIE processes and procedures.

What will you deliver?

•    Inspect/repair floor, walls, ceilings and roofs
•    Inspect /repair free standing and fitted furniture
•    Inspect/clear drainage and gully systems
•    Inspect/replace luminaries
•    Inspect/repair doors (Inc. Fire Doors), windows and associated furniture.
•    Painting, re-decorating and hanging of pictures/signed/notices
•    Assist engineering staff in a wide range of duties as required

Who are we looking for?

Must have an NVQ (or similar) in one of the below –
•    Plumbing 
•    Carpentry 
•    Decorating services 

- Demonstrable experience in either carpentry, painting, plumbing or flooring in a construction, repair or maintenance environment. Good knowledge of Fire Door maintenance and inspection techniques. 

- Understanding of Legionella control techniques e.g. tap flushing
