At AWS ProServe India LLP (ProServe India”), we are assisting internal customers to help large enterprises build ML and DL models on the AWS Cloud. We are assisting internal customers to apply predictive technology to large volumes of data and against a wide spectrum of problems. Our Professional Services organization assists our internal customers to address business needs of AWS customers using AI.

Major responsibilities include:

• Understand internal customer’s business needs and guide them to a solution using AWS AI Services, AWS AI Platforms, AWS AI Frameworks, and AWS AI EC2 Instances.
• Assist internal customers by being able to deliver a ML / DL project from beginning to end, including understanding the business need, aggregating data, exploring data, designing ML pipelines, building scalable solution using ML services, and deploying completed solution to deliver business impact to the organization.
• Develop MLOps (Machine Learning Operations) workflows for data preparation, deployment, monitoring and retraining.
• Improve ML models reproducibility, auditing, and performance capabilities.

This role is open for Mumbai/Bangalore/Chennai/Hyderabad/Delhi/Pune.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 6+ years of industry experience in ML engineer or data scientist role
• Experience implementing AI Services such as Textract, Rekognition, Transcribe, Comprehend or other similar services
• Experience using Python, and/ or R
• Experience using ML libraries, such as scikit-learn, caret, mlr, mllib
• Experience handling terabyte size datasets
• Experience diving into data to discover hidden patterns
• Familiarity using data visualization tools
• Past and current experience writing and speaking about complex technical concepts to broad audiences in a simplified format
• Experience giving data presentations

Preferred qualifications

• Masters in a highly quantitative field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operational Research, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.)
• 2+ years of industry experience in predictive modelling
• Consulting experience and track record of helping customers with their AI needs
• Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, EC2, Data Pipeline, & EMR
• Combination of deep technical skills and business savvy enough to interface with all levels and disciplines within our customer’s organization
• Demonstrable track record of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results in a dynamic environment
