In Cyber Prevent, the Cyber Security Complex Engineers work closely alongside the Cyber Security Solution Engineers.  Collectively they define, and implement, the global Cyber Security and Cyber Prevent platform designs and operations.  They work intimately with central Group Technology, Cyber Security teams and globally dispersed local Cyber Security teams to ensure that the cyber security platforms are: globally consistent; effective and efficient; have the right technical adequacy and coverage; and are delivering the optimum risk reduction effect.   Consistent global management of these cyber security platforms will deliver a step change in cyber security risk reduction, for Vodafone and its customers. 

The IT Endpoint & Hygiene Microsoft Complex Engineers will be part of the Microsoft platform team.  They will work alongside and in support of the Solution Engineers to determine the right technical treatment for their cyber security platform. They will support the development of a set of global platform strategies and plans. They will support the execution of these plans through virtual and matrixed technical teams to design, build and lifecycle manage the endpoint cyber security platforms across all Vodafone global entities
 

With us you will:

• Support the Domain platform leadership team in the development of a set of global platform plans and execution of these plans through virtual and matrixed operational teams. 
• Liaise with different vendor product groups organising regular update and roadmap sessions feeding strategic knowledge into relevant parts of Cyber Security
• Working with Domain leads and Solution Engineers within Cyber Prevent to ensure that all the cyber security platforms within the domains are: globally consistent; effective and efficient; have the right technical adequacy and coverage; and are delivering the optimum risk reduction effect
• Act as Vodafone’s cyber security platform technical experts.  They will use their personal experience and judgement to be able to quickly determine the right treatment for their cyber security platform/s. 
• Proactive identification through KPI of technical improvement programmes 
• Liaise with Cyber Security Demand to ensure that Platform business demands, projects and risk reduction activities are optimally scheduled and resourced
• Support the Platform Manager in the service availability and quality management of the platform including demand management, service design, platform management, change management, licence management, continual service improvement.  Support regular service reviews
• Prepare and ensure quality documentation in accordance with Vodafone and industry standards
• Act as an ambassador and role model for Global Cyber Security advocating for security best practice and consistency in approach

Apply if you have: 

• Professional operational experience in a technical role in cyber security operations, cyber security engineering or cyber security platform management in relation to endpoint security controls
• Good understanding and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Azure Security Center security related services and its licensing components, Compliance Center, ATP, ASC Log Analytics (Log Analytics Query Language), MDE(Defender), TVM, ARC and Cloud Security and Compliance related capabilities
• Starting/Basic knowledge and experience on Microsoft licensing SKUs and their suitability or possible constraints against business requirements
• Track record of delivering cyber security platform operations in a complex and dynamic technology environment.
• Strong analytical skills to inform effective data driven decisions on service improvement and risk reduction
• Effective collaboration across globally dispersed teams in order to deliver the consistency, and risk reduction outcomes required 
• Active and compelling engagement of people and stakeholders, across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, up to and including Cyber Prevent Leadership Team level.
