Job Description
Responsible for handling microbiological samples – visually inspect for overall integrity, incubate accordingly, examine for microbial growth, and document results – and providing assistance with day-to-day laboratory operations, including sample receiving and disposition, reagent preparation, and inventory maintenance.

– Receives and handles microbiological samples – incubation, examination, and documentation.

– Assists with maintenance of quality records.

– Cleans laboratory, bench tops, and equipment on a routine basis.

– Orders, receives, and stocks laboratory inventory per established schedule.

– Performs other duties as assigned.

– Ability to work within established procedures and practices.
– Effective verbal and written communication skills.
– Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
– Ability to effectively work in a team.
