The Central Material Planner Manager has responsibility to manage the central supply chain team and all supply chain activities where key accountabilities are service levels of material and inventory control.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate activities of the supply chain team including the management of MRP systems to assure correct services and Inventory levels are achieved

Manage inventory and stock control through monitoring of daily activities, cycle counts, stock takes and audits.

Coordinate layered capacity cost optimization

Manage supplier communication and releases

Establish, maintain and promote high standards of customer service.

Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behavior

Issue Inventory reports, IN/OUT status report, obsolete stock report, goods age report, consumption report, etc as required.

Ensure an optimized level of freight costs and service, competitive to market standards - cost and lead time.

Ensure delivery efficiency and shipping accuracy to customers, according to agreed supply targets

JOB REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong customer service orientation

Experience with MRP & ERP systems (particularly Oracle & MFG Pro), SAP is a plus

Competence in the use of Microsoft Office Package, including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

5 + years of experience in a similar role
