Partner with the best 

As a MET Manufacturing Specialist, you will be responsible for: 

• Sourcing, quoting, and ordering engineering prototype and pilot parts
• Creating and maintaining material reservations, work orders, and inter-plant stock transfers.
• Delivery management of Purchase Orders against the capital and spares build schedules
• Analyze and identify critical items for each project and manage
• Working with project managers, industrial engineers, and Production team to ensure on-time delivery
• Work with Product Line Management and Field Operations on requirements for field testing and critical engineering spares of new tools/parts
• Review Bill of Material’s for accuracy to ensure materials will drive properly when orders are placed for them
• Actively participate (and sometimes lead) in project meetings for each assigned project
• Ensure 3-way match so that suppliers are paid on time
• Handle any and all issues with receiving material
• Maintain master data
• Liaise between production and manufacturing engineering technology procurement
• Ensure smooth transition of material from prototype to production in all facets
• Adhere to all policies and procedures for both planning and procurement

Fuel your passion 

To be successful in this role you will have: 

• Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing).
• 2+ years of Purchasing and/or Planning experience.
