Summary: 

Core Responsibilities:

• Provides service and support for Plant equipment including preventative maintenance functions, inspections, cleaning and recordings
• Establishes contact to contractors for repair services of equipment
• Supports contractors as needed with projects and repairs
• Supports general facility maintenance functions including minor mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing activities
• Supports facility activities including machinery movement, material storage systems, general housekeeping, organizational functions, and personnel offices
• Actively engaged in implementing safety related activities
• Source parts and components for repair of equipment and implementation of new equipment
• Source and price components list to purchase and submit to buyer for requisition creation
• Supports outside Facilities as needed such as landscaping, paint, snow removal, etc.

General Requirements:

• 2-4 years general experience in mechanics, troubleshooting, hot work, etc.
• Hands-on, self-motivated, sense of detail and organized individual
• Light fabrication skillsets
• Capable of working in MS Office Word and Excel
• Fork lift experience
• Valid driver’s license
• 1st shift position with occasional after hours and/or weekend activity to support facility upgrades, snow removal, time sensitive projects/PM's
