What you’ll achieve
The Merchandising Consultant acts as a primary point of contact for all matters pertaining to the North American Retail segment of Dell.  This includes planning the long term strategy, analyzing industry data, forecasting business growth plans, organizing and coordinating executive communications, and management of special projects.

As a Merchandising Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and assorting the vision and strategy within the account.

You will:

  • Develop and champion assortment vision and strategy
  • Develop product roadmap and launches in support of corporate goals and objectives
  • Own development of offers relevant to the target audience
  • Drive the top and bottom line and optimizes all aspects of the portfolio P&L by delivering smart assortment, managing in-stocks, driving continual channel improvements and delivering the best customer experience
  • Use market research, customer feedback and usage insights to inform assortment decisions and enhancements
  • Apply deep understanding of customers’ needs, the product and the competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to develop, plan and implement new business development initiatives

Essential Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and project management skills
  • Prior experience in retail and/or with technology products is highly desired
  • Advanced MSFT Office Skills (Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Ability to communicate and interact with executive leadership

Desirable Requirements

  • MBA Preferred
