Job Summary:

The Merchandise Inventory Control (MIC) Specialist will provide data entry, auditing, research, and analysis of all SIMBA (Oracle Retail Software), inventory adjustments and receipts for Domestic Theme Parks. The MIC Specialist will assist with the development of processes used to maintain Merchandise inventory data integrity including Item Cost, Item Retail and On-Hand quantities.

At this time, we are working virtually but when the team returns to offices, you will be hybrid in office in Maingate Office Complex 3 days per week, work remote 2 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Audit all SIMBA Blanket Purchase Agreements, Direct Store Delivery receipts and Food Receiving
  • Key data for Inventory Adjustments, Food Receiving, Drop Ship Receiving and Return to Vendor Credits
  • Administer the Merchandise Requisition Process from outside departments requesting product from the Walt Disney World and Disney Land Resort warehouses
  • Support Physical Inventory by ensuring all transfers and BPA credits have been completed
  • Partner with Merchandise Buying, Sourcing and Store Operations to identify, troubleshoot and resolve data integrity issues
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing for multiple systems including SIMBA and NALA (Food & Beverage System)
  • Conduct research and analysis of SIMBA and SAP transactions to facilitate resolution of Accounts Payable Supplier payment issues
  • Create SAP Shopping Carts, Goods Movement/Service Entry Receiving and ZAP Non-PO Uploads

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years' Merchandise experience
  • Experience (data entry, report generation) with SIMBA (Oracle Retail Software), NALA (Food & Beverage System), SAP Casual Buyer Access, MS Office
  • Organized, detail-oriented with an emphasis on accuracy
  • Work in a dynamic team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work with all levels of Cast Members
