Media Relations Manager - 18 months FTC

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Media Relations Manager - 18 months FTC

In this role,you will:

• Build positive communication strategies for services and products
• Engage with media in a positive manner and foster those relationships externally
• Anticipate and identify issues that may have an impact on the country and provide insight, analysis and counsel
• Contribute to the development of a cohesive media relations strategy for HSBC UK
• Develop Strong relationships with Journalists 

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: 

• Minimum of 3 years of external media relations experience 
• Credibility to represent HSBC with key national and regional media at senior levels
• Strong storytelling skills with proven ability to produce clear, engaging narrative
• Someone with proactive media relations
• Broad knowledge of communication trends and best practice
• Proven crisis management skills
