Responsibilities
The Microsoft Media & Entertainment Industry & Partner Sales (M&E IPS) team leads the industry to build solutions & services that enable our M&E customers to transform, innovate and delight their customers. We work with customers and partners (ISVs, SIs) in Entertainment industries to not only help them be successful on Azure, but also develop industry specific products and services that enable their digital transformation. Candidates must have a strong desire to seek out, then drive customer & partner growth based on the industry’s unmet needs, by striving for incubating and driving industry solutions to market, fail fast when required, and leverage early wins to drive sustained market share growth by educating the market, Microsoft sellers, and partners on our industry solutions. Our solution managers each maintain an entrepreneurial mindset while creating customer-for-life relationships by maintaining close customer engagements and working backwards from their business needs to nurture and inform our industry solution. Our team’s charter is to incubate and then nurture new media solutions from a concept to reality, often by working close with lighthouse customers, then taking the solution to the general market. Operating within that mindset, the M&E IPS Team is in search for a Solution Manager with experience in advertisement & analytics workloads who wants to join a laser focused execution team to collaborate with, transform and grow our M&E strategy. Candidates must be familiar with the product management lifecycle from concept to scaled deployments, have experience owning and executing complex programs, able to influence both internally and externally, and collaborate across multiple organization that are outside of your direct influence. One must exhibit proficiency and efficacy in core product management disciplines such as defining user stories, priorities, success metrics, presenting vision that works backwards from customers, and are comfortable driving clarity across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment. A successful candidate will combine an ability to think big with keen attention to detail. We are looking for a passionate, data-driven decision maker who likes building from scratch, experimenting, setting high standards, and working in collaboration with Lighthouse customers & partners to prove out our solutions. You have a high degree of ownership, and are an excellent communicator, who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.
