Site Mechanical Engineer – Natural Gas Storage (COMAH/PSSR Responsible Person)

A rare opportunity to work for a wonderful organisation in the heart of Cheshire, within a small high-performing Engineering and Maintenance team. The Stublach Site is the largest natural gas storage asset in the UK and Storengy has big expansion ambitions in new business areas; biogas, hydrogen, geothermal and solar.

Storengy UK are looking for a Mechanical Engineering all-rounder with a strong operational background within the major accident hazard business; oil, gas, chemicals etc.

Are you fully up to speed with the mechanical regulatory requirements of COMAH, PSSR and EEMUA 231? Do you have a can-do attitude? Do you have Upper Tier COMAH site experience? Are you self-motivated? Do you have a reliability mindset?

Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent - Essential

LOLER Appointed Person - Desired

Safety qualification – NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety - Desired

5 years’ experience of Plant Operations – preferably within the heavily regulated oil and gas industry / Upper Tier COMAH / Power Generation / Chemicals / Pharmaceuticals / Heavy Industry
