Mechanical Assembler

 Take ownership for the safety and support of our equipment

 As a Mechanical Assembler you will perform a variety of unique and semi-repetitive precision assembly operations on our LUMEN Terrain product: a ground-based digital methane monitoring system.

 

As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Following all manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Reading and interpret mechanical schematics
  • Assembling parts and using handheld power tools
  • Processing SAP transactions associated with material/inventory accuracy and shipments
  • Initiating Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) as required
  • Owning inventory controls within assigned work center, including cycle counting
  • Working within time constraints; understand the sense of urgency; handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Interfacing with manufacturing engineering to ensure product quality
  • Performing misc. duties as assigned by the Cell or Operations Leader


Fuel your passion
 To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a High School Diploma / GED
  • Have minimum 6 months of experience in a manufacturing assembly environment or equivalent technical training
  • Have intermediate Computer skills (Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, & Excel)
  • Be able to lift objects weighing up to 30 lbs
  • Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required
  • Be flexible to work overtime when needed “ including weekends”
  • Be able to consistently push, pulling, lift, stretch, bend and other physical activities
