Baker Hughes Incorporated has an opening for a Mechanical Assembler in the Rotor department.  As a major supplier of oilfield service equipment, Baker Hughes exports products to virtually every oil producing country in the world. In this position, you will be responsible for the timely shipment of Baker Hughes products in compliance with all export and import regulations.
 

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for:
 

• Assembling components by following assembly drawings and bill of materials documentation

• Performing functional testing on assemblies to ensure quality and performance

• Testing assemblies for our customers to ensure reliability

• Operating test equipment in compliance with engineering standards

• Applying settings, calibrate and maintain assembly tools to ensure accuracy

• Preparing assemblies for shipment to our customers to ensure safe delivery

To be successful in this role you will:
 

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent diploma with 1+ year relative experience

• Have experience in setting up, monitoring, and maintaining equipment with a manufacturing facility

• Display an advanced mechanical aptitude and experience with general hand tools and precision measuring equipment

• Have good drilling and general product knowledge to be able to maximize equipment performance

• Demonstrate the ability to identify problems and be able to develop solutions

• Have good knowledge of HSE requirements and be able to follow and update safety policies and procedures

• Working hours are Monday – Thursday 2:00pm - 12:00AM. 10 hours on night shift with OT as needed
