Service Mechanic- Chattanooga, TN
This is a full-time, hourly, First shift position.
Preference will be given to candidates with diesel mechanic experience and/or education. Full time colleagues are eligible for a full benefits package including: health, dental & vision insurance, 401(k) with company matching funds available, paid vacation. 
Qualifications:

1. Meet all qualifications of a Utility Classification.
2. Operate a lap top computer.
3. Meet minimum tool requirement list.

Job Requirements

• Perform preventive maintenance on tractors and trailers.
• Perform minor repairs such as but not limited to: brakes, lights, component replacement (starter, alternator, belts, wheel seals, product pump, and seals), tire work, suspension (air bags, shocks, springs, tie rod ends).
• Perform DOT if meets DOT qualifications.
• Pressure test hydraulic systems and hose replacement.
• Perform cosmetic repairs such as decals, reflective tape, fenders and bumpers.
• Set tractor parameters.
• Program PeopleNet units
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a good attendance record.  (No more than 3 days unexcused absent in calendar year).
• Ability to work well with others.
• Conduct all job tasks with a positive safety attitude.
• Maintains good housekeeping.
