Position Summary

Work you’ll doAs a Manager in EAM Technology, you will lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement EAM solutions, including IBM Maximo. Manager level responsibilities include: defining and documenting key client business issues, understanding where and how EAM technology can be leveraged to address such business issues, and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall strategy, system selection or implementation engagement. You will be expected to implement and oversee the quality of deliverables, effectively manage the functional and technical team, support functional tracks of the system implementation and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance. Managers also participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities. At the Manager level, we are looking for individuals with experience in:• Asset management strategy development (including business case development and implementation road map design)• Asset management vendor selection or solution evaluation• Functional knowledge of EAM solutions such as Maximo â€¢ Technical knowledge of implementing and optimizing IBM Maximo modules like Work Management, Asset Management, Supply Chain• Leading functional and technical teams in the design and implementation of EAM solutions The teamOur Real Estate & Location Strategy team works as trusted advisors to Corporate Real Estate and Asset Management leaders, CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and key executives. We advise, implement and deliver as-a-service solutions, helping our clients develop corporate real estate and asset management strategies and capabilities to support enterprise-wide decision-making, improve real estate and asset portfolio cost and performance, and create impacts within their organizations’ operations and workplaces.

QualificationsManager QualificationsRequired: â€¢ A Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of management consulting and/or industry experience in corporate asset management is required. â€¢ At least 8 years of experience managing large technology EAM engagements (i.e., IBM Maximo) doing functional configuration and/or technical development• A minimum of 4 full life cycle implementations â€¢ Designing, implementing and supporting business processes in a Maximo environment• Hands on experience in two or more Maximo modules - Business Solution for Work Management, Asset Management and Supply Chain OR Experience with Maximo Integration and Security Framework and/or Maximo Enterprise Adapter integration abilities• Deep understanding of Maximo data structures, application designer, security and workflow design• Understanding of Maximo Technical Architecture including code migration, environment management, performance and code management• Experience dealing with large, complex asset portfolios for large organizations as well as designing, building, testing and deploying Maximo• A proven track record of successfully delivering professional services. â€¢ Strong problem solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. â€¢ Strong oral and written communication skills.• Travel 50% (While 50% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice) Preferred:• An advanced degree in related field â€¢ Experience in industries like Pharma, Government, Transportation, Real Estate Management• Experience in implementing Maximo Anywhere or any of the Maximo partner mobile solutions• Experience in Maximo upgrades• Understanding/Experience of Maximo APM modules• Strong presentation skills and an effective management presence â€¢ Eagerness to mentor and counsel junior staff â€¢ Familiarity with information technologies and platforms: such as legacy ERP, cloud software services, and customer services applications. â€¢ Experience with analytics to evaluate and optimize business processes How you’ll growAt Deloitte, our professional development plan focuses on helping people at every level of their career to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
