Master Data Analyst - Island of Ireland

We are looking for a Master Data Analyst for Island of Ireland. In this role you will; facilitate movement of export goods to the EU through set up and maintenance of foods master data, engage with the internal and external stakeholders to ensure all appropriate export master data is in place from point of launch throughout product life and establish effective relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and the supply base to enable export, sales and growth.

Key accountabilities & responsibilities

Accountabilities:

  • Master data set up and maintenance for new and existing food product exported to the EU
  • Reviewing existing processes to provide continuous improvements to team function and efficiency
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to maximise the export proposition
  • Demonstrate a good level of technical understanding within export master data and understand how it interacts with all areas of the business

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day operations ensuring data is in place for all lines exporting. Dealing with master data queries from customs, BCPs and internal teams.
  • New product set up ensuring all master data is complete before launch.
  • Maintenance of existing product master data, ensuring changes required are reflected in downstream systems.
  • Driving process improvements and continuously working to facilitate smooth export processes reducing delays and challenges.
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal technical teams to maintain correct export classification for all food products. Maintaining and leading classification document and alignment across systems.
  • Implementation and improvement of reporting – Including BEAM and Power BI
  • Proactive data management and problem resolution – Bring together process failings and identify, implement solution and communicate

Key Experience:

  • Able to fully utilise relevant food systems – FIND, SAP, graphic approver – and to be competent with standard business desktop applications
  • Advanced working level knowledge of Excel
  • Strong organisational/ prioritising skills
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with cross functional teams in a constructive and collaborative relationship
  • Financial acumen and commercial awareness
  • Enhanced attention to detail
  • Ability to influence both internal & external contacts
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to initiate and build strong relationships with BU’s, Partners, International colleagues, Suppliers and other external contacts
  • Strong problem solving skills, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, narrative.
