The position will report to the Marketing Director and play a meaningful role in growing the efficiency and impact of US marketing teams to help deliver business growth objectives.

The primary responsibility of the Marketing Specialist is to support the Brand, Shopper Marketing and Digital Marketing teams in performing crucial commercial processes such as documenting packaging and advertising claims, communicating and maintaining marketing databases, and handling inventories for promotional assets.

The ideal candidate will be a natural communicator with outstanding project management abilities, a high degree of ownership and initiative, and a desire for professional growth. They will be expected to work closely with the marketing, sales and digital teams in a highly cross functional environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Support in achieving marketing objectives for the Marketing & Shopper Marketing business teams
• Develop & maintain marketplace database for advertising messages, packaging claims and pricing information
• Work closely with managers to build and handle purchase orders and payments
• Lead critical new product support processes such as SKU creation and routing, artwork approval
• Curation and management of marketing materials inventory
• Develop pet conference execution plans and brand communications
• Coordinate digital asset distribution for brand marketing materials
• Brand activation in events, sponsors and partners.
• Work with marketing managers to plan and implement marketing campaigns

 Education/ Experience Requirements

Basic qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or Sales
• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Preferred qualifications include: Project Management, Advertising Agency or Brand/Product Marketing Experience.
