WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager in media relationship maintenance and development, planning and coordinating public relation events and activities to promote and support the mission, objectives and business goals. The candidate is in charge of preparing and distributing information utilizing media such as magazines, newspapers, radio and television. Principal duties and responsibilities includes, but not limited to:• Media database management• maintain existing media contacts updated• develop media contacts from local and intel outlets• Provide editorial support to press materials• write and edit press release, press invitation and other press related documents• develop press briefing materials for interviews• Expand exposure by• identifying and pitching press interview opportunities• organize press event• develop various types of press initiatives• Provide press monitoring• manage external agency to provide timely and comprehensive press report• manage GMD system uploading and updating• Support Beijing based events

• Detail-orientation and organization skills• Strong interpersonal skills• Ability to work independently, take initiative, assume ownership• Responsiveness• Good co-ordination skills and follow through• Motivation and willingness to work overtime during peak activity periods• Good team player• Proficiency in computer (MS office)YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)• Over 5 years of marketing experience in professional services or multi-national companies• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Mandarin• Bachelor degree or above
