Our ultra-fast delivery service is seeking a customer-obsessed, analytical Marketing Manager to play a critical role to our marketing, merchandising and launch strategy for our 3P Business (local stores offering their selection on Amazon like Morrisons and Co-op), ensuring the creation of an innovative, best-in-class, cross-channel experience to drive ongoing customer trial and engagement. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting and ground breaking new initiative at Amazon with a focus on expansion and defining a business in its early stages.
In this role, you will be expected to work on driving customer acquisition and engagement strategy managing new launches and existing business areas. You will be able to manage multiple priorities, influence cross functional teams and ensure the highest standard of customer experience is delivered on time for new launches. You will define new and existing business strategy and manage promotional activations and driving traffic across Onsite, Email, Social Media and Paid Advertising channels. In addition to ensure optimum site design and selection discoverability. You will work closely with different teams (Business, Operations, PR, Finance and Legal) on the creation and implementation of best-in-class customer experience, support large scale events, analyze performance and improve execution based on learning. You will be able to build relationships and negotiate with highly strategic external partners. This is a growing and fast moving business and you will be required to move quickly, be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, pivot as needed and learn tools as needed.
To be successful in this role, you should be passionate about the customer, be able to work with multiple teams, have proven analytical capability, project management skills, and the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to execute while also spotting opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree
• 4+ years of relevant level experience in e-commerce marketing
• Customer obsession with a strong business sense
• Excellent communication (written and oral)
• Superior analytical skills, with ability to quickly understand root cause and use data to drive decision making
• Extreme attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves
• Experience with MS Office: Word and Excel
• Experience using analytical tools (Excel, SQL)
• High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
• Track record of delivering marketing campaigns and cross-channel strategies
• Track record of building relationships and negotiating with external partners
• Ownership mentality
