Role Summary
The Marketing Manager plays a key role in defining the creative strategy to deliver clear and impactful customer-centric communications that align with our brand promise and customer experience principals, while delivering strong business value. The marketing Manager will report to the Sr. manager and work collaboratively with Unified Customer Communications team, Technology, Analytics, Execution, Product, Customer Care, Operations among others to develop, implement and optimize enterprise-wide customer communications that improve customer experience, engaging and retaining customer and driving value.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Development of one-to-one creative strategy in line with the strategic objective and audience from the ground up, using learnings from previous campaign, results as well as inputs from boundary partners and key agencies to strengthen our customer experience and relationships.
Leads creative for highly targeted and coordinated customer communications across a variety of marketing channels from conception to completion including project kickoff with agencies, stakeholders, boundary partners, project management, regular performance readouts, program optimization, etc.
Responsible for ongoing process improvement to enable faster and more efficient campaign development and best use of resources (internal and external).
Communicate creative strategy, approach, and translate into a project plan to be shared with boundary partners as well as readouts on campaign performance.
Manage communication and reviews of all campaigns with boundary partners, legal and product marketing and problem solve for best and most effective output.
Leverages consumer insights and performance data to develop and/or adjust integrated 1:1 customer communication.
Guide the migration from traditional 1:1 communication approach to modern marketing methods (hyper targeting and personalization, customer journeys, optimization and omnichannel approaches).
Work with diversity and legal teams to ensure creative and content are culturally relevant and legally approved.
Manage the review and approval process with all relevant stakeholders and provide updates when campaigns are launched.
Continually work towards the development of a dynamic and personalized customer lifecycle experience, tailored to each user’s journey.
Optimize performance through A/B testing and work with partners to deliver results and make program improvements.

Qualifications:
Minimum
5+ years of experience in email marketing required in related field (i.e., Marketing, Advertising, etc.)
Knowledge of email best practices, deliverability, CAN-SPAM legislation, email success metrics
Proven track record of creating, implementing, and optimizing complex email programs to meet business goals
Ability to direct external advertising agencies in strategy and concept development and execution
Excellent project management, organizational skills, and a keen eye for details
Self-starter with the ability to make independent decisions and the judgment to know when to seek guidance.
Knowledge of SMS and mobile push activity best practices
Willingness to dive in and find answers to complex problems where solutions may not yet be documented
Obsessed with positive customer experiences, content/copy, and accuracy across all customer touch points.
Strong creative vision with a natural eye for design and a passion for delivering dynamic ideas that connect with any audience
Experience developing multi-tactic, campaigns from creative concepting through execution, results readouts, and action plans
Demonstrated ability to effectively work in cross-functional groups and gets results in a matrix organization
Excellent soft skills such as interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
Demonstrable capacity to thrive in a high-change, entrepreneurial, and often ambiguous business environment
Agency, creative development and direct marketing experience required
Requires strong knowledge of applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
Some travel required
Preferred
BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (i.e., Marketing, Business, etc.)
Bilingual highly desired (read and write)
HTML coding skills is a plus
Experience in telecommunications industry desired
