Role Summary:

The Marketing Lead, Costa US role exists to steward the Costa Coffee brand in the United States consistent with global guidelines, ultimately enabling the region to meet our growth objectives. 

What You'll do for Us:

  • Tailor the global brand positioning to ensure local consumer relevance & differentiation (edge) across the US market and regionally within the US

  • Develop all the brand’s marketing strategies supporting the brand positioning (fully integrated across all platforms), including consumer platforms (creative & media), price/pack, promotions, innovation, in-store merchandising, platform activation, others

  • Design and lead the development of a digital strategy for stronger / continuous consumer relationship with the brand

  • Coordinate research & knowledge processes to develop distinctive consumer insights, market / category understanding, and brand equity tracking (e.g. share, preference)

  • Manage relationship with external partners (agencies, Bottlers, research, media, etc.) that support the execution of the brand plans

  • Lead the creation of the innovation pipeline across platforms

  • Lead direct report to ensure successful performance in role as well as support career development and growth within the company

What You'll Need:

Education Requirements:

  • Marketing Degree or comparable, Masters preferred

Related Work Experience:

  • 10 years relevant experience in marketing; prior start up or challenger brand experience preferred

  • Experience developing and executing grassroots marketing strategies and tactics as part of generating brand awareness

  • Strong capability on brand communications, marketing campaigns, production innovations

  • Understanding of marketing processes and research protocols

  • Knowledge of digital, especially consumer platforms
