Job summary
Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon.com and a global leader in Cloud Computing, is seeking an experienced Marketing Enablement & Operations Manager.

In this role you will be responsible for identifying and implementing marketing program operational enablement tools and technologies to run marketing business cadence, manage vendor and Information security relationships, reduce costs and business risks while scaling program management processes centrally.

You will work closely and collaborate with 1/ the EMEA Field, Partner, Segment & Central Marketing Teams to understand their marketing program portfolio, 2/ the EMEA FinOps Stakeholder Groups including Tax, Finance, Procurement & Operations to submit, manage, track & report on marketing program POs and budgets, 3/EMEA agencies & vendors who support EMEA Marketing Programs and 4/Workfront and Workfront agency support, maintain & improve project management across Marketing Programs.
The ideal candidate will have managed a robust marketing programs operational portfolio and project management system with evidence of working across multiple stakeholders and EMEA regions. This candidate must have a strong operational mind-set, understand how to execute cross-functional marketing tools effectively and have a natural bias for action in solving problems. The candidate should be able to work with director level audience to help them run business cadence mechanisms and identify challenges proactively.
Role is open for candidates across UK and Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Key job responsibilities

  • Scaling marketing project management via WorkFront and integration with various internal tools
  • Rationalising agency and vendor relationships and contracts to maximise scalability and becoming a subject matter expert on liaising with internal AWS teams such as tax, legal, procurement & accounting as it relates to marketing programs.
  • Owning the end-to-end budget management process including purchase order and invoice management
  • Running weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual marketing business cadence with all EMEA Marketing teams to ensure delivery of marketing goals, commitment of marketing budgets, attainment of marketing hiring goals and adherence to financial, legal and data compliance standards
  • Work cross-functionally with various stakeholder groups within Marketing to define, coordinate, implement and maintain marketing project management

-Integrate systems & tools to create automated workflows to streamline project management processes and mitigate risks, while providing best practice recommendations, work on adoption and training as appropriate.

  • Dive deep to understand the marketing programs, executional models, dependencies, vendors & agency support etc. to define best practices in process management
  • Act as a conduit between EMEA marketing teams and support teams for EMEA (Legal, Tax, Procurement, Finance and Security).
  • Responsible to drive behind the scenes execution of where and how processes can be integrated to eliminate duplicated effort and develop best practices across EMEA marketing programs
  • Create agency & vendor playbooks for best practise engagement with AWS on contracting, management & invoicing.
  • Create internal best practice playbooks for project management, FinOps management & vendor/agency engagement models.
  • Train marketing teams on operational excellence best practices

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant work experience in marketing project management, marketing operations, marketing program enablement and or marketing budget management
  • Experience managing marketing programs with budgets of $10M+.
  • Experience managing and implement marketing project management tools. Workfront experience preferred.
  • Experience driving buy-in on new processes and implementing organisational change
  • Experience reviewing and managing marketing program agency and vendor contracts
  • Demonstrated competence presenting recommendations and gaining alignment with cross-functional teams, external stakeholders and leadership.
  • Existing knowledge of industry marketing tools, such as Salesforce and Marketo.
  • Experience in running cadence driven business reviews for Director level stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study.

  • Background with technology industry or global consumer brand.

  • Proven track record marketing project management, project management or marketing operations

  • Ability to simplify complex processes to create internal and external efficiencies.

  • Willingness to travel and ability to work independently and autonomously.

  • Experience in marketing B2B technology products or services.
