Job Summary:

The Walt Disney Company's games business is one of the world's largest licensors of games across platforms. Our games teams work closely with external development studios to create original stories through high-quality games inspired by the worlds of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm and 20th Century Studios.

The Walt Disney Games Marketing team partners with licensees to deliver world-class campaigns, helping each licensee successfully create/execute go-to-market plans that build brand awareness, engage consumers, and drive conversions through thoughtful brand storytelling, data-driven insights, and creative innovation – all grounded in a consumer-centric integrated marketing approach.

Working with the Sr. Manager, Marketing, you will work on assigned titles within the Walt Disney Games business. The Marketing Coordinator plays a critical role in coordinating schedules, details, and deliverables across all assigned titles and is collaborative, organized, and creative.

You will report to the Sr. Manager, Marketing

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sr. Manager, Marketing in providing insightful guidance/feedback and routing/managing approvals for go-to-market plans, assets, and activations with licensees
  • Oversee the routing/approvals of assets and plans with licensees and internal teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, PR, Franchise, and Legal) to secure alignment/feedback/approvals on all major marketing deliverables
  • Create and maintain asset management tools/directories to track/coordinate deliverables
  • Coordinate all asset deliveries and ensure on-time deliverables for assigned titles
  • Draft and distribute guidance, updates, and protocols pertaining to assigned titles
  • Coordinate with regional teams on incoming/outgoing requests/approvals
  • Develop knowledge of KPIs, common marketing strategies/tactics, and Disney Synergy programs
  • Learn appropriate benchmarks and goals across greater marketing channels/campaigns
  • Become a strong brand steward for TWDC brands to deliver on-brand marketing and creative
  • Foster relationships with both licensee and internal teams throughout TWDC

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of Marketing experience (preferably within the gaming industry)
  • Experience in brand management, product marketing, user acquisition, or social/community
  • Experience analyzing data and extrapolating insights
  • Demonstrated project management skills and familiarity with project management tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in or passion for the gaming industry

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
