The Marketing & Communications Manager will initiate and implement all marketing activities, ensuring a high level of customer centricity and integrated customer engagement through all touch points.

Our Maison is focusing on the continuous digital transformation of processes and experiences for our clients. We are looking for the person who will lead this change locally and empower the local team to embrace innovations.

 

Your responsibilities

Strategy & Planning :

  • Develop marketing plans aligned with HQ and European strategies, for the 2 internal boutiques and for each wholesale partners, identifying key leverages of success and optimizing opportunities/resources
  • Manage the coordination of the multi-channel online and offline business e-retailers, brand e-commerce, wholesale partners
  • Cross departments project leader on omnichannel initiatives ensuring a smooth client journey

 

Retail & Wholesale marketing:

  • Execution of all marketing plans to support commercial objectives
  • Maximizes new launches sales and visibility; suggest, develop, implement and follow-up 360 action plans for each point of sales
  • Support the 2 internal boutiques of the market in all their marketing & event activities
  • New clienteling strategy implementation - new CRM tools, definition of objectives for client acquisitions, conversion and retention, across all segments of contacts and timepieces.
  • Manage and monitor retailers' websites, from stock model, KPIs to measurement of success
  • Manage the relationship with the Customer Relation Center to increase customer engagement and sales
  • Establish and maintain close contacts with key partners, teams to secure sustainable and strong relationships
  • Carry out manufacture visits for end clients and journalists

 

Public Relations:

  • Send out central and regional press releases to Swiss press
  • Be point of contact for Swiss press
  • Ensure that coverage targets are put online and in print
  • Establish strong relationships with the Swiss press

Internal Communication:

  • Be the point of contact and the referent for Europe Team and HQ Marketing Teams
  • Be influential / build strong relationships with all key stakeholder operating on the Watches segments to ensure that Jaeger-LeCoultre Switzerland gets relevant amount of support and allocations vs. market size and potential.
  • Support Marketing Europe and Media HQ on media implementation and opportunities

 

Budget:

  • Analysis and optimization of budgets
  • Monthly monitoring for Brand Director and controlling
  • Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly and yearly closings

 

TeamManagement:

  • Manage the Trade Marketing & Training Manager
  • Ensure regular personalized feedback
  • Coach and develop employees according to their strengths

 

Your profile

  • University/ business school Graduate.
  • You should possess experience in 360-marketing, with strong commercial and product understanding, as well as a solid experience in digital
  • Talent to multi-task while leading a project, from implementation to end results.
  • Proven ability to communicate efficiently, convince team members/ partners and ability to lead change
  • Sense of ownership and accountability
  • Very strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data into concrete actions
  • Organized, pragmatic, able to manage & build from scratch new projects and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Flexible mind-set and quickly adaptable person.
  • Must be detail oriented and have a passion for thoroughness and accuracy.
  • Solid knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Google Analytics
  • Fluent in English and German, Italian & French are a plus
