We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our Marketing team in the role of Marketing Campaigns Manager.
This role is responsible for working with the Head of Marketing – EMEA and Senior Marketing Manager in the management and execution of the marketing strategies and activities to deliver against the objectives and ambitions of the MENA and Europe International (PBRS) Marketing Strategy and Plan. They also work with and guide local marketing teams in EMEA to ensure that the HSBC brand is promoted in a cohesive and consistent way and using the agreed campaign assets and supporting materials produced.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- The implementation of the Creative Strategy for all brand and marketing communications, ensuring this aligns to the business objectives and priorities to help drive growth.
- Implementing the Campaign Strategy and Campaign Constructs for selected brand and marketing communications.
- The execution and effectiveness of regional and local brand campaigns, platforms and campaign assets that can be used consistently across the markets.
- The creative development process within Marketing, including agency relationships and processes to support creativity and consistency throughout the markets.
- Relevant aspects of brand governance in terms of guidance, framework and templates and the processes that support their use (including the Marketing Centre).
- Provision of marketing assets and resources to markets
- Own the effectiveness of all MENA and Europe International campaign activity.
- Ensuring all elements of campaigns are managed within the agreed marketing spend
- Working with a range of key stakeholders across marketing teams and the Global GPB business to share outputs and best practice.
- Gain agreement and ensure support for campaign activity and budget they are responsible for.
- Keeping abreast of customer needs via all opportunities whether F2F, online or via research findings
- Working with Marketing Managers and Agency Personnel to align and integrate activity, as well as inform and guide the Regional Head of Marketing, Senior Marketing Manager and other members of the Global GPB marketing team.
- Supporting all campaign activity from all stakeholders (external & internal) at all levels as well as senior management within marketing overall.
- Ensuring all marketing collateral produced has the necessary product, compliance, legal and brand approvals.
- Identify and work with key stakeholders to gain buy-in and ensure that strategies and solutions will be effectively delivered by all areas of the business. Key stakeholders include the global GPB business and global GPB marketing team
- Drive introduction and adaptation of HSBC Group best practices.
- Liaise with marketing across HSBC globally, sharing best practice, common standards and approaches.
- Working with Global Market Heads and country marketing teams as required, with a priority focus on MENA and Europe International region
- Following marketing financial process, procedures and manage within the Marketing budget allocated.
- Review and monitor the effectiveness of MENA and Europe International Marketing GPB brand communications and campaign activity to meet Global Brand and Marketing objectives.
- Responsibility for ensuring all marketing activities are measured, evaluated and reported, post implementation.
- Responsible for proactively identifying risks and providing recommendations on mitigating actions in the event of the internal and external developments e.g. changes in business strategy, revised segmentation, competitor activity, emerging channel development, changes in legislation etc.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
- Extensive broad based business experience, ideally within a Financial Services based institution.
- A range of Brand and Marketing Communications planning and operational experience, including demonstrable success in developing and developing campaign strategies and multi-channel high profile campaigns. This should cover experience of identifying the role of research, proposition development, communications, delivery and channel management.
- Strong understanding of the MENA and Europe International region being served from Switzerland as complex regulated market
- Proven understanding of customer insights and their role in communications development.
- Ability to think innovatively, shaping and communicating new concepts.
- Solid understanding of communication developments and emerging consumer and industry trends.
- Proven ability to work on multi-function projects demonstrating excellent relationship building skills.
- Proven ability to be a self-starter with energy and drive in a challenging and dynamic environment
- Commitment to putting the customer at the heart of all development and implementation activities
- Private Bank or High end/ luxury Event management experience essential
- Fluent in English
