Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior marketing professional to join our Capita Experience marketing team. You will be working with key stakeholders to develop compelling new logo acquisition strategies and delivering the go to market plans for our Customer Experience (CX) Customer Value Propositions (CVP’s) and microservices. Working with divisional Product and Sales to create go to market plans that promote core CVP capabilities into our client and prospect base through persona and audience based targeting and campaign activation. This role will cover creation of completely new marketing plans (for new industry sectors) as well as the continuous development and refresh of plans to support ongoing demand generation (working with marketing colleagues dedicated to some of our core industry target sectors). High level of collaboration, working with business stakeholders and industry marketing colleagues to ensure each solution has the appropriate assets and campaign content to promote optimum exposure, capturing and nurturing our target audiences through the sales funnel from demand generation and awareness through to ensuring the appropriate materials to support sales conversations and “purchase” phases of the sales cycle.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working with key stakeholders to develop and implement compelling strategies and plans to drive new logo customer acquisition.
  • Driving demand generation for CX client value propositions, measuring and reporting on pipeline generation and ROI, continuously improving quality of leads whilst optimizing cost per lead
  • Developing & Delivering targeted campaigns across digital and other marketing channels as appropriate to audiences
  • Able to understand and interpret product research, competitive intelligence and market testing insights in order to articulate compelling and differentiated proposition messaging
  • Maintaining a consistent alignment to customer centric marketing using buying center mapping, demand mapping, persona development, customer journey mapping and continuous feedback approaches to hone and refine positioning
  • Innovative and creative multichannel campaign planning and an understanding of sales enablement for the purposes of commissioning suitable assets and campaign elements to support pipeline volume and velocity
  • Working with Head of Multi Industry and GTM to ensure successful implementation of marketing elements for our sales enablement platform
  • Working with Industry leads to ensure industry value is derived from campaign activation through the planning and campaign implementation process
  • Monitoring, reporting on and optimising campaign measurement and metrics to ensure continuous improvement of campaign activities

What we’re looking for:

  • Understanding of the sales funnel, product and marketing principles to build nurture networks and acquire new customers
  • Solid B2B experience ideally gained across a number of industries
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and their application in the customer journey and lifecycle
  • Excellent multi-channel marketing and content creation skills
  • Strong organisational, project management and planning skills, strong people, collaboration and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong copywriting, proofreading, written and personal communications skills
  • A Proficient user of CRM and marketing automation platforms and an understanding of buying center and demand mapping for marketing purposes
  • Wide ranging marketing role where the holder is both a thinker and a doer
