Job Description

What you’ll be doing:

  • Optimising marketing communications, Martech and channels to increase reach and effectiveness and maximise ROI.
  • Identifying innovative ways to more efficiently and effectively market and gather insight across multiple channels
  • Liaising with IT ensuring alignment between MarTech and overall technology policies and deployment to ensure that marketing is best placed to exploit the available technologies
  • Managing marketing technology spend to an agreed budget inc. management of suppliers
  • Owning reporting on return on technology investment – ensuring we are maximising the productivity that technology brings – and demonstrate how tech helps us scale our marketing effort
  • Overall accountability for the marketing database’s structure, quality, and hygiene. Continuous assessment of data volumes in line with marketing strategies. Ensuring that the marketing technologies and all data handling is compliant with EU data and privacy laws.
  • Sourcing fit for purpose tools to automate aspects of lead generation and other relevant Marketing processes
  • Driving the adoption of Marketing automation tools across Capita
  • Educating teams on the use and benefits of Pardot, and upskill individuals where required
  • Leading best practice use of Marketing automation tools and help to shape their optimal usage
  • Managing always-on channels to maximise visibility and persuasion through the customer lifecycle

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience of using and managing various digital marketing platforms and channels
  • A thorough understanding   of and passion for Marketing automation tools, including Pardot, and web analytics best practice
  • Expert in digital Marketing, with demonstrable experience driving the successful adoption of fit for purpose tools
  • Tech savvy, data-driven and strong business acumen
  • Innovative thinker who demonstrates a passion for delivering change and benefits in the Marketing space through automation
  • Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, communicate and deliver training to upskill teams
  • Strong leadership style focused on engagement and driving to outcomes
