An amazing opportunity for a Marketing and e-Commerce Procurement Manager. The successful candidate will business partner the Marketing and e-Commerce, leading Goods Not For Resale procurement to ensure a high level of service and procurement experience and recommendations. Working to increase Procurement's influence and remit within the category, as well as nurturing relationships with all associated parties, will be part of the role. The post holder will also manage the commercial and contractual aspects of all procurement activities, collaborating closely with appropriate New Look business units to ensure a seamless procurement delivery and maximise commercial benefits while minimising risk.

Key responsibilities:

  • Expertly lead all end-to-end procurement processes such as RFI’s, RFQ’s and RFP’s, to support the marketing category in sourcing and business decisions.
  • Manage all ATL and BTL categories within Marketing.
  • Lead key negotiations with suppliers and to take commercial ownership.
  • Manage the Marketing and e-Commerce categories, ensuring best in class service.
  • Work with key stakeholders on an on-going basis to ensure their commercial objectives are met by being incorporated into the overall strategic plan.
  • Management of key procurement projects which have visibility at the New Look board level or wider business impact.
  • Lead the process to develop and prioritise a rolling strategic plan to maximise the deliverable savings in the business area. The potential to ultimately be responsible for managing a Procurement Manager.
  • Promote procurement benefits and best practice sourcing principles to stakeholders and enable traditionally non-accessible spend areas to be targeted.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to define the sourcing approach, provide market analysis and develop specifications for each project..
  • Promote and deliver international sourcing solutions across the Group to exploit synergies.
  • Manage the competitive Tender process, including evaluating responses, leading negotiations and presenting recommendations.
  • Draft Contracts and Service Level Agreements and maintain the Contracts database, providing support and expertise, where required.
  • Lead implementation and ensure stakeholders and commercial objectives are realised.
  • Monitor Contract compliance by performance tracking against key performance indicators.
  • Proactively review existing contract cover for GNFR suppliers, using value and risk-based mechanisms to develop and implement an action plan to improve contract cover and compliance to contracts
  • Lead the use of Bravo and other strategic sourcing tools to deliver increased value
  • Manage on-going supplier relationships and deliver SRM

Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Digital/Marketing and Omni channel retail experience
  • Evidence of strategic supplier mapping
  • Specific experience of digital, media and creative agency pitch management
  • In-sourcing/Out-sourcing transformation project management
  • Retail Point of Sale print/Visual Merchandising props procurement expertise
  • Negotiation skills
  • Problem solving
  • People management & ability to influence - Line, across peers & senior management
  • Process driven/Organised/methodical
  • Understanding of Procurement process and systems
