Last Mile Transportation at Target is responsible for moving E-Commerce shipments from our unique Omnichannel fulfillment network to our Guests’ homes. More than 80% of that volume originates in over 1400 of our Stores making Target the largest volume true Omnichannel shipper out there. Servicing the transportation out of that huge distributed network and high volumes means a simultaneous microscopic attention to day to day detail as well as the ability to step back and think strategically in order to drive change within Target and with our carriers to fully leverage our Stores as Hubs strategy and provide maximum Best in Class Guest Experience.
As a Last Mile Market Logistics Leader, you’re responsible for strategic planning and tactical execution of outbound transportation from Target.com fulfillment centers within a specified region of the United States. You will engage third party parcel providers to manage outbound ship capacity, speed, cost, and delivery performance. Within each of your assigned fulfilment centers, you’ll identify opportunities for efficiency within carrier networks and lead a strong service culture by ensuring clear expectations are set and met. You’ll collaborate with fulfilment center leadership, Group Operations Directors, Carrier Partners and Headquarters leaders to ensure a high level of service, maximize efficiency and serve as a change agent to champion continuous improvement and do what is best for the guest. Additionally, you will be part of cross functional teams responsible for developing and launching future fulfilment capabilities for Target.

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location.A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member worksfull-time from home oran alternatelocation that’s not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.
About you:
Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $81,300 to $146,400. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Target cares about and invests in you as a team member, so that you can take care of yourself and your family.
