The Market Research Analyst will develop a deep understanding of our business and market trends and provide high-level industry intelligence for the Talent Acquisition team supporting technical executive talent acquisitions efforts. As a vital member of the Talent Sourcing team this role will support Enterprise talent acquisition efforts by focusing on collecting, analyzing, updating and presenting data and market insights to build out our knowledge of competitive landscapes and influence broad reaching talent acquisition strategies.
We are looking for a critical thinker with a passion for research. This individual will be asked to process, synthesize complex information effectively and communicate in a concise manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be an expert on business, product and industry research to enable talent strategies and recommendations that influence our recruiting and hiring strategies
- Conduct public research & collect data on competitors in the marketplace and create up-to-date organizational charts and talent maps
- Be our expert on industry news – read the daily trades and provide regular updates to the Talent Acquisition team
- Prepare and present relevant reports, covering subjects like company mergers & acquisitions, layoffs, promotions, external labor market trends
- Work closely with recruiting teams to identify market intelligence and talent maps for a diverse pool of leadership talent and provide sourcing for high-need niche requisitions - build proactive relationships with external leadership talent
- Capture and maintain accurate market, client and candidate information on our knowledge management systems so as to both facilitate the search process and our overarching market intelligence initiatives
- Manage candidate tracking mechanisms and data systems (e.g. CRM) and relationship management tools. Manage data intake and candidate information
- Provide metrics and reporting to relevant internal stakeholders and recruiting leadership
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years’ experience in research, executive search/talent acquisition, corporate development environment or market research related position
- Extensive experience conducting research, collecting and framing-up market data to enable partners to inform and influence decisions
- Ability to analyze market trends and make recommendations based on findings
- Experience leveraging various third-party research tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience developing research presentations for dissemination
- Experience creating project plans and managing execution of concurrent work-streams and priorities
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required. Experience leveraging Microsoft Visio and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience speaking with subjects to attain insights
- Strong curiosity, analytical mindset and a drive to succeed a must
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
